About Atkins
Working Kelpies
All the dogs we have bred are from top station dogs which we purchased from farmers, drovers and shearing contractors. It has only been recently we have brought in some new blood lines from some of the top breeders.
Our aim is to breed a style of dog which:
1. can think for itself
2. very easy to train
3. hard working
4. very loyal
Mark and Amanda Atkins from Atkins Working Kelpies are here to help you find the type of dog you need. If we don't have it, through contacts we may be able to find it for you. Also if you have a desire to own a specific bloodline we have the time to discuss and hopefully help you with that as well.

is
originally from England, which he had his
own farm with pedigree Poll
Dorset’s and cows and calves. He had great Border Collies as working dogs over there. When he arrived in Australia his working visa took him out farming in North/West NSW, that's where we met. Amanda was born and bred out that way on 16500 acres. Amanda's father has always been into farming on big property's that is how Mark was introduced to The Australian Kelpie. Since having to have good working dogs of his own in a hot dry climate, Mark has a passion to breed dogs for other people. He will only breed, train, and put time into dogs that he would use and love to keep for him self. |
